The journey starts with an itinerary for extensive trekking between two necropolises (Tarquinia and Cerveteri) to immerse in nature and discover history throughout the territory.

 

The museum spreads out of its boundaries to define two approaches, one from the city and the other from the cliff.  Through the museum, with the help of the path that offers many possibilities of connection, visitors create their narrative without an enforced order.

 

The underground tombs of the Necropolis are grouped under themes about their wall paintings. These groups are arranged within open-air rooms that are slightly lower than the surrounding landscape.
